Synopsis:
Captain Storm and his crew encounter an American plane floating at sea. An enemy sub makes their position and begins to attack. Capt. Storm is thrown overboard. He goes under intentionally, so that his crew will leave him. The Japanese sub commander witnesses Storm's actions and gains respect for his foe.

The sub commander then saves Storm from a shark. When an American plane begins attacking the sub, Storm tries to save the commander. Instead, the commander goes down with his ship, saving Storm again in the process.
