History:
Mara was born around 45,000 years ago in the city of Thamuz. The evil sorcerer Garn Daanuth sought a mystic crystal in the possession of Mara's father. While Mara fled with the crystal Mara's father fought Daanuth's men and he was killed. Mara was rescued from pursuers by Lady Chian and Wyynde, and came to live in Atlantis's City of the Golden Gate. She became an ally of the Atlantean mage Arion on many of his adventures. She accompanied him to safety when Atlantis finally sank. Mara's ultimate fate is as yet unknown.

Powers:
Under emotional stress, Mara can change shape to become a gigantic white, winged, fire-breathing dragon, a horned, winged lion, and perhaps other beings as well. Her clothing does not transform along with her. Mara can communicate telepathicallly.

Mara is a capable hand-to-hand combatant and horseback rider.
