History:
Jade was born of a French father and Vietnamese mother. Separated from her parents before she was ten, Jade roamed the Far East for many years before being caught and sold into slavery in the Middle East.

Jade somehow escaped her owner, killed him, then was found by World War Two Chinese guerrilla freedom-fighter Wen Ch'ang. Ch'ang and Jade formed a loose alliance and roamed much of the Middle and Far East, earning money doing mercenary work. Ch'ang taught the young Jade all his highly developed guerrilla skills.

At sixteen, Jade was married to the famed African assassin Kruen Musenda, known as the Spitting Cobra. Musenda killed his victims with an exotic variety of poisons. Musenda died two years later, and Jade returned to Wen Ch'ang's side.

Slightly more than a year ago, during an undercover assignment, Jade met and seduced a member of the Teen Titans. This unrevealed Titan gave her a child he knows nothing about.

Powers:
Cheshire is a superior hand-to-hand combatant and an expert triple-jointed acrobat, which allows her to move in ways most people couldn't dream of.

Cheshire is also an expert with poisons, and can dip her razor-sharp artificial fingernails in a poison that allows her to slay her victim with the slightest scratch.
