History:
A Prussian nobleman, who was a favorite of Adolf Hitler, was made a concentration camp commandant. A ruthless administrator, he incurred the hatred of his prisoners and was one day assaulted by a recently arrived inmate.

A vial of acid was thrown in the commandant's face, which quickly destroyed his features. Hitler ordered his top surgeons to repair the damage as best they could. Then, hoping to compensate for the facial damage, Hitler had his scientists execute a long-developed plan that tapped the commandant's latent psychic powers.

After months of experimentation, the baron was transformed into a human fighting machine, a new tool for Hitler's plan for world conquest.

Originally, the armored Baron Blitzkrieg battled the All-Star Squadron; he later confronted Wonder Woman on several occasions.

It has not been revealed whether or not the baron survived the war, thus his current condition and whereabouts are unknown.

Powers:
Baron Blitzkrieg's mind was altered by Hitler's scientists, thus allowing him extraordinary psychic control over the various physical functions of his damaged body, which was encased in armor for his own protection. He can control his own metabolism, and is able to somehow alter his musculature to provide himself with greater strength for limited durations. At his peak, Blitzkrieg has claimed to be as strong and swift as Wonder Woman.

He has a limited ability to channel his internal energies through his eye to create crude, but destructive, heat beams. It has been theorized that he can only channel his energies to perform only one function at a time.
