History:
Winky Moylan, Blinky Boylan, and Noddy Toylan spent most of their lives as dimwitted bumblers. The three dimwits decided to change their luck by becoming would-be crooks, which brought them to the attention of the Flash, Jay Garrick.

Sensing that the trio was not truly evil, Flash turned them away from crime by taking them under his wing. While the dimwits continued to make trouble for Jay, they also assisted him on several cases throughout his early career.

The fate of the dimwits after Jay retired from public life in the 1950s has not been revealed. Earth-1 versions of the Dimwits have met Jay's Earth-1 counterpart Barry Allen on at least one occasion.
