History:
David Clinton, a petty criminal all his life, finally realized he was being arrested because he didn't take the time to plan his crimes properly. Clinton, admiring the clockwork precision with which everything was run in prison, decided he would make time work for him rather than against him.

Always fascinated by timepieces, deft with the hands, and of an inventive turn of mind, Clinton spent the remainder of his sentence laboring in the prison workshop, learning everything he possibly could about clocks and their workings. When he was finally released from prison, Clinton designed a colorful costume for himself and embarked upon a new career – as the time thief known as Chronos.

After setting up shop in Ivy Town, Chronos has found his criminals efforts thwarted again and again over the years by arch-foe. The Atom, and is currently serving another long term in prison.

Powers:
While possessing no true super-powers, Chronos is a master inventor, employing a wide array of time-inspired weapons, including an exploding hourglass, a wrist-watch that fires its razor-sharp hands, a device that can slow time itself, and others. His only recurring device is a sun-dial-shaped flying platform.

Chronos is an average athlete and an adequate hand-to-hand combatant.
