History:
In the late 1930s and the 1940s Slam Bradley was a free-lance private investigator known for his indomitable courage and great fighting ability. Bradley was quite smart, although he never finished high school, and he had a hot temper. He worked for money and was often broke, but his real interest in his work seemed to be his love of a good fight.

"Shorty" Morgan, who hero-worshipped Bradley, became his partner after capturing a criminal Bradley was after. Bradley (and sometimes Morgan) would often adopt a cover job while investigating a case. Hence, Bradley has worked as a teacher, a prizefighter, a magician, and even a radio singer.

In more recent years Bradley joined other detectives in investigating the seeming murder (actually suicide) of his friend Archie Evergreen. Bradley’s current activities and whereabouts are unknown.
