History:
Orphaned at birth, Tula found her way into the royal family of Atlantis, where she was raised and taught. Little is known of her early years, as she was schooled in Atlantean ways and remained secluded in the Royal home.

There she met Garth and they quickly fell in love.

Tula remained in Atlantis, only occasionally leaving to join Garth on a mission with the Teen Titans. But aside from these brief encounters with adventure, Tula's life was without incident.

Bur then Mera vanished, and Aquaman forsook Atlantis to search for his missing wife. During the Sea King's absence, Atlantis was ruled by Narkran, who turned his rule into a dictatorship which fell only when Tula led a rebellion which almost cost her her life.

Tula's life was heroically lost during the Crisis on Infinite Earths when toxic chemicals from Chemo poisoned the water in which she was swimming.

Powers:
Tula can breathe underwater, swim at extreme speeds, and can withstand the great undersea pressures. Tula also possesses limited telepathic powers.

Like all Atlanteans, she can only remain out of water for one hour.
