History:
A Greek national, Niles Aegeus was planning terrorist activities when he and his band met Bellerophon, whom Athena had given a magic bridle to tame the winged stallion, Pegasus.
In Ancient Greece, Bellerophon did great deeds with both the horse and the magical thunderbolts, found in a quiver attached to Pegasus' saddle. Bellerophon's ego grew until he believed himself a god, which incurred the wrath of Zeus, who struck him blind, leaving him crippled and powerless.
Despising Zeus and his believers, Bellerophon passed the bridle to Aegeus and told him the location of Pegasus. The terrorist became a sword enemy of the Amazons, particularly Wonder Woman.
Powers:
Aegeus flies Pegasus, a winged horse capable of attaining great speeds, and is outfitted with a magical bow and arrows in the shape of thunderbolts that can be vastly destructive. Particular thunderbolts can be used to transport Aegeus and others to far-away locations. No limits are known regarding the thunderbolts' distance. Aegeus has also taken possession of Vulcan's six daggers, which have the ability to slice through almost any object, including Wonder Woman's bracelets and magic lasso.
