History:
A psychically-sensitive young woman born on the planet New Genesis, Beautiful Dreamer is said to be one of the few beings whose mind can comprehend the legendary Anti-Life Equation.
When the diabolical Darkseid, ruler of Apokolips, began to use the Earth as a focal point in his war against New Genesis, he kidnapped Beautiful Dreamer, hid her on Earth, and was finally forced to release her when confronted by Superman and the mysterious Infinity Man.
When Dreamer and her lifelong friends and companions, the Forever People, are reunited, they decide to remain on Earth for a time, to learn more about the planet and perhaps help protect it from Darkseid's evil.
After numerous adventures on Earth, the Forever People found themselves pursued by Devilance, an agent of the villainous Darkseid, and were forced to use their unique ability to trade places with the superpowerful Infinity Man in an effort to save themselves. In the course of their battle, though, Devilance and Infinity Man were seemingly destroyed, leaving the Forever People trapped on the idyllic planet where Infinity Man had been resting when they summoned him. Intrigued by this tranquil paradise, and sensing adventure just over the horizon, the Forever People went forth to explore their new home.
Powers:
A skilled hand-to-hand combatant, as are all the children of New Genesis, Beautiful Dreamer also possesses the singular ability to isolate images from the minds of others and give those images temporary form by creating frightening lifelike illusions. There appears to be no limit as to the size or duration of these images.
The Forever People also possess a Mother Box, a living computer which gives various kinds of aid to the children of New Genesis.
