Synopsis:
The Dark corrupts Mark Moonrider and turns him into one of its agents. It then tries to tempt Beautiful Dreamer again with thoughts of her lost child. Mark then appears before Dreamer to lure her over to the Dark. Big Bear fights to save his wife and rescues her from Mark's clutches. Mark uses his Megaton Touch to knock down a nearby building. Dreamer is struck by debris and knocked out.
Big Bear and Mark then fight. The battle tears up several city blocks. Mark tries to verbally attack Big Bear by claiming that Dreamer really loves him. Bear finally gets the upper hand, but as he is about to deliver a potentially fatal blow, he realizes that Mark is not responsible for his actions. The moment of indecision gives Mark a chance to strike. He triumphs.
Serifan, Vykin, and Maya arrive on the scene as Mark is gloating over his victory. Mark then calls upon other agents of the Dark including Fyre. The swarm of followers surround Vykin and Serafin. Maya watches helplessly as the Forever People are carried away by the mob.
