Comments:
Blood of the Dragon Part One
Uchiokoshi translates to "Raise the Bow".
This story continues in Green Arrow #22.
This story contains hints that Shado's son, who's name is later revealed to be Robert, is the son of Oliver Queen. These hints are confirmed in later stories.
Synopsis:
Shado is attacked by several Yakuza soldiers. She puts up a fierce fight, but she surrenders when her child is threatened. The Yakuza, working alongside an American businessman, order Shado to become their assassin. Once she kills her target, she has been ordered to kill herself. If she does not comply, they will kill her son.
In Seattle, Oliver Queen celebrates his birth with Dinah. He then receives a letter from Japan, requesting his assistance. Although he believes that Shado sent the letter, when he arrives, she tells him that she did not.
