Synopsis:
Hal Jordan answers John's plea for help and reaches Oa. The mad Guardian has collected cities from several planets and relocated them to Oa. Hal settles a dispute between the people of Hope Springs, one of the stolen cities, and natives of Xudar. He then comes face-to-face with the old timer. The Guardian brainwashes Hal and sends him back to Hope Springs. Fortunately, Hal anticipated trouble and gave the ring a command to snap him out of the spell. Hal then contacts Guy Gardner on Earth for help.
