The Fear Machine, Part VII
This story is continued in part from Hellblazer #19 and continues in Hellblazer #21.
Synopsis:
Mercury is able to convince Doctor Fulton to take her outside where she escapes. Fulton is arrested and then killed by Mr. Webster.
Meanwhile, Talbot takes Constantine to meet the Russian man he rescued from the train. Along with Simon Hughes, the four men put together the plot by the Masons to create a magical fear machine. While John steps out for cigarettes, the others are arrested by Davis and the Black Squad.
Elsewhere Webster sacrifices one of the test subjects to bring the creature Jallakuntilliokan into the world. Mercury, Marj, and John all feel its psychic emanations.
