Synopsis:
John finds himself needing money, so he seeks out his old friend Jerry to arrange a trade. As he arrives at Jerry's house, a blind man rushes past him and delivers a black mark to Jerry. The man then disappears.

Jerry explains that he was approached by a man who delivered a warning. It seems that Jerry is a storybook character who has taken human form without permission. The storybook world is now trying to reclaim him. John and Jerry take a walk where they encounter other characters. Eventually, Jerry takes refuge in a library. The other characters are waiting for him. They reclaim Jerry and remove him from the real world.
