Synopsis:
Gemma Masters is haunted by the ghost of her grandfather Thomas Constantine. No one else can see the ghost. At the funeral, John visits the crematorium and watches his father's cremation. He then visits Gemma. He believes that he is to blame for the ghost.
When John was a rebellious teen, he fought with his father. When Thomas burned his books, John used a spell to get revenge. He sacrificed a cat and caused his father to wither. Feeling remorse, John sought a way to reverse the spell. He placed the dead cat in formaldehyde to preserve it. His father's decline was halted, but he never got better.
John placed the cat's remains under his mother's headstone. Now, he digs it up and burns it to release the ghost.
