This story is continued from Manhunter #18 and continues in Manhunter #20.
Synopsis:
A new Dumas has killed Eiji Hasegawa and taken control of the clan. He takes the Shaw family as prisoners and sends Kazuo Hasegawa to New York to deliver a message to Mark Shaw. Manhunter then goes to Tokyo to fight Dumas. While Mark works to free his family, Kazuo puts on the Manhunter costume and fights Dumas, where he is fatally wounded.
