The Atom then returns to Ivy Town where Professor Hyatt and Enrica Negrini throw a party in Ray's honor. At the party, Ray sees Jean Loring which brings back old feelings. When the two meet in the kitchen, they share a moment of grief over the death of Laethwen. Jean's new husband Paul Hoben sees them embrace.
