Synopsis:
Jim Corrigan and Pete Quarral face off against Wotan, who is now able to manifest on Earth using the body parts of Zatanna assembled by Rath and Ghast. However, since he has not stolen her entire body, he is still vulnerable. Corrigan is able to injure him with a bullet and force him to return to limbo. Rath and Ghast take the remaining portions of Zatanna's body into the sewers, so that Wotan can try again.

In Madame Xanadu's parlor, Zatanna is possessed and attacks. The Spectre is able to subdue her. He then tracks down her body and defeats the demons. He is then able to enter limbo and confronts Wotan directly. He locates the spirit of Zatara which has been stolen by Wotan. The Spectre then defeats the sorcerer. Zatara is briefly reunited with his daughter before making a final passage into the afterlife.
