Synopsis:
Amethyst has been reborn. She warns Donal of evil at Castle Topaz. The young prince then rushes off to face it. Amethyst herself then tracks down Donal's brother Wrynn who has become Mordru. She engages the sorcerer in battle which eventually leads back to Castle Topaz. Donal has returned and found his people dying. Lord Topaz and his wife are injured as well. In another part of the castle, Amethyst gains the upper hand in her battle with Mordru. She prepares to kill him, but is interrupted when Flaw arrives holding Emmy as his captive.
