Synopsis:
After escaping the city of Thera, Travis Morgan and Tara trek through the jungle of Skartaris back to Tara's homeland Shamballah. Along the way, the girl tutors Morgan in the art of swordplay. One night, the couple take refuge in a cave. During the night, Tara is lured away by a satyr. Morgan goes after her and frees her from the satyr's spell.
The couple returns to the cave for the evening only to find a group of slavers waiting for them. Despite their best efforts, Morgan and Tara are captured. They are marched to the slave markets of Bal Shazar. During the march Morgan is able to saw through Tara's slave collar using the titanium chain of his dog tags. He then delays the slavers while Tara escapes on a stolen horse. As punishment for his actions, Morgan is tied to a tree by the slavers and left to die from exposure.
