Synopsis:
After washing up on a shore line, Travis Morgan is discovered by two Titans. The Warlord kills one of them, but he is captured by the other. Morgan is taken to a city and placed before the Titan's Queen Amarant. His life is spared, but only briefly.
While awaiting his fate, the Warlord meets Shakira, a dark-haired servant who offers to help him escape. Their escape plan succeeds in killing two more Titans, but in the end they are captured. Morgan and Shakira are then placed in an arena to be killed by a horned beast. Shakira is able to direct the beast toward the Titans instead. In the resulting action the Titans are all killed.
Shakira tells Morgan that she has an independent nature, but chooses to join him for now. She then demonstrates the ability to transform into a black cat.
