Synopsis:
Travis Morgan, Shakira, and a tribe of mammoth riders fall under attack by men bitten by the vampire Mortalla. They fight off the attack, but Mortalla has escaped. She has learned the location of her amulet which can be used to make the dead do her bidding. After the battle, Morgan and his friends visit a shaman who enchants their weapons.

Before long, the Warlord has another encounter with Mortalla and her minions. This time the battle is lost. Morgan, Shakira, and Kbdarr are all captured. Mortalla orders Daimon to kill Shakira, but he refuses her with his last shred of humanity.

During the confusion, the Warlord breaks free. He goes after Mortalla directly but she is immune to normal weapons. Morgan is able to take her amulet and use it against her. Fearing the one thing that can destroy her, Mortalla flees. The spell upon her dead minions is broken. Daimon is mortally wounded, so Morgan gives him a merciful death.
