Synopsis:
Batman and the Joker work independently to track down the henchmen of the fake Joker, Curtis Base. When the henchman leads them both to their target, a confrontation ensues. The Joker is shot, and Base escapes.
Base then lures Batman, the Joker, and Jim Gordon to the chemical factory which created the Joker. Another fight ensues. Base then jumps into a vat of acid with the intention of being transformed. Instead the chemicals kill him instantly. Batman then captures the real Joker and takes him to Arkham Asylum.
