Synopsis:
Linda shares a story with Petey about how she and Eric battled a beast shortly after becoming Doctor Fate. The beast was connected to singer Diane Eagles. While the first battle didn't prove successful, during the second Linda was able to connect with Eric more completely, allowing them to trust one another. This led Linda to expose the beast's true nature. It was Diane's guardian angel. However, all the torment in Diane's life had corrupted it. With Doctor Fate's help, the angel is restored. Diane allows it to leave peacefully and rejoin other angels.
