Synopsis:
After failing to find a single clue during a three month investigation of a smuggling ring, Star Hawkins resigns from th case. Ilda convinces him to take a vacation on the planet Xophia. While on vacation, two aliens change Star's oxygen tank with one containing Dimol. They think the gas will knock Star out, but instead it causes intoxication. Star starts a barroom brawl and is tossed in jail.

Ilda overhears the restaurant owners plan to kill Star while he's in jail. Ilda breaks him out, and he returns to the restaurant. Star captures the owners and learns that they are the smugglers he spent three months looking for. They didn't know he was off the case and tried to kill him because they thought he was after them.
