Synopsis:
A space craft launched from Planet X 1000 years ago lands on Mars. Inside the craft is a plea for help against red snow crystals that are destroying their world. Some of the crystals are on the ship and now become a menace on Mars.

Space Ranger attempts to stop the crystals, but he can only slow them down. He flies to Planet X to learn more about the crystals. The crystals are also menacing Planet X again. Space Ranger helps the people stop the crystals using magnetic ore. Then he permanently stops the problem, by exposing a large supply of ore on the moon. Space Ranger then returns to Mars to defeat the menace there.
