Synopsis:
A gang of Bnarians steal a powerful explosive called UX-7 from a chemical depot on Mercury. Space Ranger and Cryll track down two members of the gang. In order to hear their plans, Cryll transforms himself into a Jovian Jamak, but the aliens injure him. When he wakes up, his memory is gone, and he remains in the destructive form of the Jamak. Space Ranger prevents the authorities from injuring Cryll when he begins a rampage. The Bnarians attack again, but in doing so inadvertently restore Cryll’s memory. Cryll is then able to reveal the information he overheard and prevent the Bnarians from using the explosive.
