Synopsis:
Adam Strange arrives on Rann via the Zeta-Beam, but he acts coldly toward Alanna. At a party in his honor, Adam asks another girl, Lurinor, to marry him. Alanna is heart-broken.

Before the wedding, a strange cloud creature attacks Rann. Adam builds a weapon to destroy the creature, but Alanna sabotages his plan. The creature comes into contact with Adam, which restores Adam's true mind. During his Zeta-Beam trip, Adam's mind was exchanged with the creature. Alanna deduced the situation when the creature burned Adam's initials in the ground.

Restored to his own body, Adam finishes off the creature with the weapon it had created. Adam's wedding to Lurinor is called off, and he restablishes his relationship with Alanna.
