This story is continued from Detective Comics #404.

Synopsis:
While trying to find evidence to exonerate Jason Bard of murder, Batgirl is knocked out by the real killer Veda. The killer then uses plaster to trap Batgirl. However, Veda's rival Infra-Red comes to her aid. During the fight between the two actresses, Batgirl is freed from the plaster. The studio catches fire, but Batgirl is able to get both the other women out safely.

The evidence to save Jason was destroyed in the fire, but Infra-Red turned on a camera prior to her arrival and captured Veda's confession on film.
