Synopsis:
After protecting a flying fort from aerial attack, Johnny receives a distress signal from a tank commander. The commander is unable to direct Johnny to the enemy target, which results in his tank being destroyed. Johnny pulls the commander from the wreckage, but the rest of the crew is dead. The tank commander blames Johnny for their deaths.

Later, Johnny is assigned to ride inside a tank to teach crews how to point out targets to planes. Johnny rides with the commander he saved. Using his superior targeting skills, Johnny points out several targets to Tex and the Happy Braves. After saving the tank from destruction, Johnny receives the gratitude of the tank commander.
