Synopsis:
Sgt. Rock recalls a mission he led in the desert of North Africa. Easy Company was attacked by two fighter planes. During the battle Rock's compass is destroyed and the canteens containing water are punctured. Rock keeps the bad news from the members of his unit and motivates them to continue on towards their objective. Easy Company is angry at Rock that he is withholding water from them. When they reach the objective and are rescued, Easy learns the truth. Rock acted as the target for Easy's anger rather than letting them be discouraged from lack of water.
