Comments:
The Bizarro created in this story is not the same one that appeared in Superboy #68 although he does possess those memories, presumably because Superman has them.
This story continues in the first story of Action Comics #255.
Synopsis:
Lex Luthor has discovered the plans to Professor Dalton’s duplicator ray, that created a Bizarro when Superboy was exposed to it. Luthor builds another device and uses it on Superman. The device creates an adult Bizarro.
Bizarro however will not serve Luthor as intended, and instead the creature captures his creator. Bizarro is feared by people due to his appearance, and Superman intends to destroy him. The creature falls in love with Lois Lane, but Lois rejects him.
Bizarro uses the duplicator ray to make an imperfect duplicate of himself that Lois will like. The new Bizarro is handsome, but still stupid. Lois is initially tricked into believing he is Superman. While the handsome Bizarro romances Lois, the original Bizarro keeps Superman from interfering by exposing him to Kryptonite.
