Part 2: "Tyros, King of Atlantis"
Part 3: "The Invasion of Atlantis"
Synopsis:
Tyros, an exile of Atlantis, finds a powerful gem which transforms him into a beast with power over sea and air. Using his formidable control of sea creatures, Tyros attacks Atlantis, Aquaman supercedes his control of the sea creatures and stops the attack.
Tyros then turns to the air where he steals the horn of Quixtol giving him mastery of birds. Hawkman and Hawkgirl oppose him, but Hawkgirl is changed into a harpy and falls under Tyros’s control.
Aquaman and Hawkman team-up against Tyros, whose continued attack upon Atlantis has finally succeeded. Aquaman locates the gem responsible for the transformation, and Hawkman retrieves the horn, removing Tyros’s command of birds. When Aquaman smashes the gem both Tyros and Hawkgirl are restored to normal. Finally, the Atlanteans retake control of their city, sending Tyros back into exile.
