Synopsis:
Senator Henry Knight and his daughter Sandra drive to the site where a new explosive is being demonstrated. They are forced off the road by an airplane. The plane lands and the pilot and his partner take the explosive's inventor Dr. Raphael aboard.

Sandra decides to investigate the kidnapping in the costumed guise as Phantom Lady. With a black lantern capable of projecting a cone of darkness, she tracks down the kidnappers. She follows them to Dr. Raphael and rescues him in a swamp. The kidnappers fall into the swamp where they are killed by water moccasins and quicksand.
