Synopsis:
While on an excursion boat in the local harbor, Al Pratt sees two ships about to collide. He intervenes as the Atom and helps move one of the ships out of the way. A short time later two other ships nearly collide in the same spot. The Atom prevents the second accident, then investigates the cause of the problem. He discovers crooks planting magnetic ore under the water which is attracting the ships and causing collisions. The crooks intend to wreck the ships and salvage their cargo, but the Atom foils their plans.
