Synopsis:
A volcanic eruption near the ocean floor unburies a mysterious city of gold beneath the water. Aquaman leads a team of scientists to explore the city. They encounter various prehistoric forms of aquatic life that have been temporarily brought back to life.

As they near the city Aquaman and his team encoutner a race of fish-men. Aquaman becomes suspicious when the fish-men are scared away by an air rifle. He unmasks the fish-men as humans seeking to loot the city of gold for themselves. Aquaman also discovers that the city is not made of gold at all, but rather it is a worthless fossilized glowing substance.
