Synopsis:
Superman leaves on a mission, but leaves his costume behind along with a machine which can give temporary super powers to anyone who was exposed to a large amount of Kryptonite. Substitute Supermen are given powers and perform the duties of the missing Man of Steel.

The underworld tries to locate a crook that has been exposed to Kryptonite. They believe that Sam Baron, a criminal, fits the description. They can’t find him until his fingerprints match those of the latest substitute Superman.

The underworld seeks to recruit Baron, but it turns out to be Superman. All of the other Supermen were him as well. The scheme was designed to lead him to the gangster known as the Organizer. With the crook captured, Superman ends his masquerade.
