Synopsis:
Diana Prince regularly takes a ferryboat across the bay. She befriends MacDonald, the captain of the boat who is bored with his job and wants to quit. Diana returns to the boat as Wonder Woman. She shows MacDonald that his job is important. He helps brain surgeon John Lane get to the hospital to save patients. The ferry has even inspired down-on-his-luck composer Serge Cleff to write new music.
MacDonald plays a long-distance game of checkers with a nearby lighthouse keeper Joe Devlin. When Devlin makes a strange move, Wonder Woman suspects trouble. Gangsters have taken over the lighthouse with the intention of causing a ship to crash. The Amazon rescues Joe from the gangsters and foils their plot.
Wonder Woman's advice has helped MacDonald to take a fresh perspective of his job which he no longer considers unimportant.
