Synopsis:
While photographing nocturnal animal life, cameraman Willie Farr inadvertently snaps a photo of a member of the Panther Gang. Willie doesn't know the man is a crook. When he delivers the photo to the Ivy Town Courier for publication, the editor recognizes the man in the photo. The editor is the leader of the gang, so he sends his men to steal the negatives from Farr.

When the Panther Gang arrives at Farr's studio, he is giving a photography lesson to Ray Palmer. Ray becomes the Atom, but fails to stop the crooks from escaping with the negative. He does learn a clue to their next robbery. He is on hand to stop the theft of a jeweled crown from a beauty contest. Willie helps by knocking out the gang boss. Atom then help Willie get a date with the beauty queen Dawn Hudson.
