Synopsis:
Batman is contacted by Angles Moore, a man working for crime boss Scap Scarpel. Angles claims that he wants to turn over evidence that will convict his boss and arranges a meeting with Batman. At the meeting, Angles tries to kill Batman. In the struggle they fall into the ocean. Only Angles surfaces. His boss was watching and rewards Angles for killing Batman.

Over the next few nights Scap and Angles are haunted by signs that Batman is still alive. When Batman stops a robbery, only Angles returns to the hide-out to meet Scap. Batman then surprises Scap by revealing that he switches places with Angles underwater and had been in disguise to gather evidence. Scap is then taken into custody.
