Synopsis:
Lois Lane is approached by a theatrical agent who wants Lois as the star of a new play. Lois agrees to try out. The producer likes her, but thinks she needs experience as a working girl first.

The studio gets Lois a job at a pretzel factory for two weeks. The factory foreman wanted his girlfriend to get the job, so he sabotages Lois's work. Superman helps Lois by fixing each problem that the foreman causes.

Lois succeeds as a factory worker, then appears on a quiz show to promote herself. After the show, the producer tells Lois he no longer wants her for the part. Her quiz show appearance ruined her image, since people now think of her as a pretzel-bender.
