Synopsis:
The Challengers trail a wanted swindler to an island inhabited by the Banjuk tribe. Ace and June remain with the plane while the others look for the criminal, Manfredo. Red, Prof, and Rocky accidentally enrage the natives and are sentenced to death. Prof gives them a chance when he demands a trial by combat.
Each Challenger faces off against an opponent, but they are secretly helped from behind the scenes. They believe Ace and June are helping them, but after they have won their trials and returned to the plane, they learn that their friends were not responsible.
Returning inland, they find evidence that Manfredo was killed by a jungle animal. They refuse to believe the evidence and locate Manfredo after a search of the island. The crook had helped the Challs so they could find out about his apparent death and return to the mainland with the news. With the crook in tow, the team returns home.
