Synopsis:
While the Challengers pursue a wanted criminal named Jacquard, Ace warns the team not to be overconfident. Despite Ace’s warning, each Challenger acts reckless allowing Jacquard to escape.

When the Challengers hear from Jacquard again, the crook challenges the team to individual competitions. Jacquard best Red, Prof, and Rocky, leading them to suspect that Jacquard is really Ace. They are correct, as Ace was merely challenging his own teammates after capturing the real Jacquard.

After the hoax has taught the team a lesson, the group returns to the place where Ace has left Jacquard only to find the villain has escaped. A combined team effort helps to stop him again.
