Synopsis:
The Blackhawks attempt to stop the Mole from making an armored car heist using a new atomic weapon. When the weapon has nearly run out of power, Blackhawk is struck by a beam of energy from it. He is not killed. Instead, the beam gives him super powers which he uses to track down the Mole. The villain tries to duplicate the accident and give his own men super powers, but his attempts fail. The Blackhawks round up the gang, and Blackhawk's powers wear off. Blackhawk theorizes that the combination of the weaken beam and mineral deposits in the immediate area were repsonsible for the fluke gift of temporary super powers.
