Synopsis:
The Blackhawks welcome reporter Jim Burrow on a visit to Blackhawk Island. Unbeknownst to Burrow, a criminal known as the Wolf has planted a homing device in the reporter's briefcase. While the Blackhawks are busy elsewhere, the Wolf sends objects to the island guided by the homing device.

The Blackhawks return to the island and discover the objects. Believing an intruder has penetrated the defenses, they instigate a search. The Wolf then launches a bomb toward the island guided by the homing device. After it detonates, the crook believes that he is free to commit crime.

When the Wolf then stages a raid on a shipping vessel, the Blackhawks arrive to arrest him. Blackhawk had discovered the homing device and sent the tracker to another island where the bomb detonated without harm.
