Synopsis:
The Blackhawks are sent to the moon to learn what is responsible for sabotaging the space program. They are intercepts by a moon shaped ship piloted by the Moonster, a giant claiming to be from the moon. The Moonster then sends the Blackhawks back to Earth, threatening to continue his efforts to stop the space program.
The Moonster then flies his ship over a city and causes a massive blackout. He warns Earth to discontinue their exploration of the moon. The Blackhawks try in vain to reason with the Moonster, but they meet Naomi, a woman who claims to know the fiend. She explains that the Moonster is a transformed Earth scientist named Gerald who was her fiance.
Meanwhile, three common criminals trick their way aboard the Moonster's ship by claiming to be moon-beings. They use the Moonster in an attempt to steal a gold shipment. The Blackhawks intervene and shoot down Moonster's ship. The crash causes the Moonster to revert to Gerald without any knowledge of his other identity.
