Synopsis:
Tin is lonely, so he constructs a new robot using one of Doc's unused responsometers. He brings the new robot to the other Metal Men to help name his creation, but Mercury makes fun of them. Tin's robot girlfriend runs off and takes the jetaway into space. Tin follows her and decides to leave the Metal Men behind.
In space, Tin and his nameless girlfriend locate a planet inhabited by a robot that eats skyscrapers. Tin escapes, but the planet is equipped with jet engines. The giant robot follows Tin back to Earth, becoming a giant menace. Tin warns the other Metal Men. Working together they are able to stop the giant robot. Tin rejoins the Metal Men, while trying to find an appropriate name for his new girlfriend.
