Synopsis:
Clark, Jimmy, and Lois test a new bomb shelter for three days. When a menace strikes Metropolis, Clark can't exit the shelter to stop it. Instead he builds a device to bring three heroes from the past to help. Samson, Atlas, and Hercules arrive in Superman's time. Superman then sends them to deal with the menace.
The three heroes display extra god-given powers and defeat the crooks. When Superman offers to return them to their own time, they refuse, intending to stay in Metropolis and make themselves rulers. Superman then exits the bomb shelter and confronts the trio. With their new powers, the trio are equal to Superman and threaten to harm innocent people if Superman interferes.
Superman then disguises himself as Omni-Menace, a fictitious villain of the past. He then bests each of the historical heroes and makes them his servants. The trio decide to return to their own time periods to escape from Omni-Menace. When they are gone, Superman abandons his Omni-Menace guise and repairs the damage to Metropolis. A spokesman from Kandor then informs Superman the evil trio were actually from a parallel world and not the same heroes Superman thought they were.
