Synopsis:
Superman has grown old and retired, leaving his son Jor-El as Earth's mightiest hero. Superman helps raise his grandson Kal-El II, by telling him stories of the past when there was still crime on Earth. One day, while Jor-El is away on a space mission, young Kal-El spots some men he believes to be crooks. Superman is skeptical, but when he investigates he sees the super-strong men constructing a base. Superman and his grandson try to trap the crooks, discovering them to be robots. Superman then builds a jamming device to jam the radio-controls of the robots. The aliens call off their invasion of Earth, having been defeated by an old man and a child. Superman and Kal-El then return home, where their story is not believed by Jor-El or his wife.
